WHO WE ARE

In our years of experience, we have witnessed the unique connection forged between people striving towards a common goal.
This connection is born out of respect for one another and is the catalyst for life-changing relationships that can only be described as a bond.
We believe fitness is about prioritizing your health every day and seeking improvement in every aspect of your life.
This constant pursuit for improvement cultivates an appreciation of one's own efforts, that manifest with a bond between mind and body.

Fitness is a process, not a destination and we help make the process incredible.

WHAT WE DO

Bond Performance is a strength and conditioning program where our focus is You. Your fitness, your experience, your safety, your results. We are focused on making your time with us, the best part of your day.
We value effort as effort drives results and we care about how you feel in your skin.

Our training philosophy is simple: we work hard and never take the easy way out. A good hard workout is challenging, requires effort, focus, and elicits a feeling of satisfaction at its conclusion. We believe in the power of a good hard workout and we provide this every day.

Our training model is centered on strength and conditioning and we use:
Metabolic Conditioning, Gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, Plyometrics, Powerlifting, Strongman/woman, Kettlebells, Ballistic training, Yoga, and High-intensity interval training -to keep every day exciting, challenging, and rewarding.

CJ VIRDO

My fitness journey started out as an overweight teenager who just played video games and ate a lot of food, so I began going to the gym to lose weight and fell in love with training. (I still eat a lot of food and play video games but life is about balance).
That progressed into finding Powerlifting which I did for a few years until I sustained a major ankle fracture. After recovering I decided to change up my training and began doing Weightlifting and CrossFit which is the majority of my training now, although I do like to try new things all the time such as triathlon and rock climbing to broaden my horizons and expand my knowledge.

I started coaching because I wanted to share my knowledge and expertise, as well as pass on the joy that fitness brought to my life to others, and I still maintain that desire today.

I love being a part of the Bond Performance team because I believe it is the pinnacle of training facilities in Melbourne, with coaches and management that strive to be their best and genuinely care about each and every member.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, Majoring in Exercise Physiology from Deakin University.
As well as over 10 years of training experience in multiple disciplines.

GIULIA SGRO-RALPH

I’ve been active all throughout my life since a young age. I started off playing netball for a school team and through my teen years that progressed into many other sports including soccer, basketball, and AFL. I was later introduced to functional fitness and
weightlifting through a friend and from then on, those things became a regular aspect of my life.

I love the challenge and growth it brings; I love the feeling of finally being able to accomplish something after working hard at it for a certain amount of time.

I’m passionate about overall fitness because of the ability it has to positively influence many aspects of our lives.
I love helping others improve their overall quality of life through exercise and nutrition.
It’s incredibly rewarding when you see others progress through something or reach a the certain goal they’ve been working towards.

I can help you with all things in the gym as well as any nutrition-related concerns - from how to fuel up properly or improve recovery to simpler lifestyle goals such as making healthier food choices.

Qualifications:
I have a degree in Health Science - Nutrition as well as certificates III & IV in fitness.
I’m a registered Personal Trainer through Fitness Australia and also a member of the
Nutrition Society of Australia.
